I have the Humax HDR Fox T2 in one room and the Humax HD Fox T2 in another room. I have home adapter plugs with ethernet wiring connected to the boxes and the router on the computer. I have enabled sharing and the boxes show the network is connected and the server on. The HDR is showing the other HD T2 in the portal window and vice versa. At the HDR-FOX T2's core is the Humax software, and that is 1.3.12 which is the latest version. The menus will state 1.3.12. The software you loaded included the Humax 1.3.12 software plus some other software created, and still maintained, by some of the members of the hummy.tv forum. The latest version of that additional add-on software is v3.13.
I'm having plenty of fun, trying and failing to replace a failed HDD in a HDR-FOX T2. The old unit is a 500 GB Seagate Pipeline ( ST3500312CS p/n 9GW132-191 ). Alas, the Humax fails to properly recognise the old drive any longer, and I can't even read it using a SATA-to-USB adapter on my Mac, either using macOS or a VM running RHEL.
