Uninstall the device. Disable and enable the device. Changed the ethernet cable to one that is 100% working on different computers. The only other solutions that might work that I have not tried is a BIOS update and Windows System Restore, which is my last resort if there are no other options that might seem obvious.
Assuming that you are already rooted (via z4root, Gingerbreak, or some other means), search for "EasyTether Lite" on the Android Market and download it. Go into Settings>Wireless & Networks. Uncheck the box that says "Mobile Network", "3G", "Mobile Data" or something along those lines.
To name a few -Run every relevant troubleshooter in Windows. -Show hidden devices. -Network reset in Windows. -Reset winsock settings, and cleanup network devices with netcfg -d. -Verified onboard LAN controller is enabled in BIOS. Also tried disabling and re-enabling. -Cleared CMOS. -Clean installed Windows 10.
If the adapter is still missing, click Action > Scan for hardware changes. When I expand the Network Adapter list, the Microsoft WiFi Direct Virtual Adapter, Microsoft WiFi Direct Virtual Adapter, Qualcomm(R) WiFi B/G/N/AC (2x2) Svc and Snapdragon (TM) x24 LTE Modem are in a faded colour.

Press Windows key + R to open up a Run dialog box. Next, type ‘cmd’ and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to open up an elevated Command Prompt. When you’re prompted by the UAC (User Account Control) prompt, click Yes to grant admin access. Opening an elevated Command Prompt prompt via Run box. Once you’re inside the elevated Command Prompt Disable the Virtual Adapter with the command netsh wlan stop hostednetwork. Remove the connection sharing from the Ethernet Adapter. Activate the Virtual Adapter with the command netsh wlan start hostednetwork. Adding connection sharing from the Ethernet Adapter to the Virtual Adapter again. By doing these steps my devices can now be connected mXJ6X.
