During the installation process, the Adobe folder was be removed from the ProgramFiles and the updater published the message: A newer version is already installed. The Adobe was disappeared from installed programs, ControlPannel/Programs, but remains in the registry. Could you help me with some advice? I cannot install Reader anymore. Best regards,

I have tried Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and am not happy with the user interface and functionality. I would like to reinstall the older version. Adobe's web site indicates that installing the older version is possible, but whenever I proceed with the download it defaults to Acrobat Reader DC. How can I find and install the older version?
