Dream Beach is the island’s most famous beach because it is a dream beach. It has the most golden sand you’ve ever seen, colourful reefs for snorkelling past, and extraordinary cave complexes. It’s one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, not just in It’s not a secret that scooters are very popular in Bali. On Nusa Islands, scooter rental prices start from IDR70,000 (~USD4.90) per day. You may also get cheaper prices if you rent scooters from your accommodation. Most of the roads on Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan are paved, so it’s safe to ride on, even for beginners. 13. More Expensive Than Bali. The reality is that Nusa Lembongan is more expensive than Bali. Everything on the island arrives via the local ferry and is hand carried off at the beach. Expect prices to be higher than in Bali and locals less willing to bargain. Last but not least, another option for reaching Nusa Penida from Bali is the ferry service running from Padang Bai (aka Padang Bay). The ferry to Penida departs at 10:00 and 14:00 daily. This crossing takes about 60-90 minutes and it’s cheaper than the speedboats (the one way price is 31k Rupiah). Ljh2z.
